• Ayurveda Diet and Life Style For The management of Psoriasis

    After successful tour to USA starting again to share my thoughts with you…today we will discuss about what should be your Diet and Life style to Manage Psoriasis…receiveing so many queries from the readers of my previous blogs on Psoriasis…there is a lot of confusion among Psoriasis patients,Psoriasis sufferers asking me the specification regardin their Diet and Life Style…

    As per Ayurveda pathology Vata and Kapha dosha involved in Psoriasis and later on Pita is also invoving so we need to be careful to balance our diet…

    We need to avoid some Vata aggravating Food like

    Vegetables-

    Frozen,Raw or Dried Vegetables,Eggplant,Broccoli,Brussels Sprouts,Raw Peas,Mushrooms,Dandelion greens,Raw Cabbage,Potatoes,Raw Onions,Raw Tomatoes,Raw Redish,Turnip,alfalfa and sunflower sprouts,Raw Cauliflowers,Spinach etc.

    Vata Aggravating Beans and Lentils-

    Peanuts,White Beans,Dried Peas,Chick-pea,Soy Flour,Soybeans,Kidney Beans,Black Beans,Brown Lentils

    Now Food that aggravating Kapha to be avoided…

    Avoid Meat,Wheat and dairy after Sundown

    Avoid Salty and Sweet Taste

    Avoid fatty and Fried foods

    Reduce heavy or sour fruits, such as oranges, bananas, pineapples, figs, dates, avocados, coconuts and melons, as these fruits increase Kapha

    Reduce sugar products, as these increase Kapha

    Avoid vegetables like Tomatoes,Cucumbers,Sweet Potatoes and Zucchini.
